EFCC Arrests Lawyer, Bardi Robert For suspected 15.7 million naira theft

Operatives of the Economics and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, have arrested a legal practitioner Barrister Bardi Roberts for allegedly receiving N15,712, 187.38 judgment debt fund from a Rivers State High Court, on behalf of his client, Igwe Ugochukwu and converted same to his personal use.

Bardi Roberts allegedly received the judgment fund in three tranches of N10,000,000, N737,187.28 and N4,975,000.00.

Additionally, the suspect’s alleged accomplice, one Obinna Friday Egwom, is still at large.
