Nigeria police dispersed a crowd of June 12 protesters Saturday in Abuja.

The protesters who gathered around 8:30 am to express their displeasure over the state of the nation were dispersed with tear-gas.

The protesters, who chanted “Buhari must go”, “Say no to injustice”, amongst other solidarity phrases, scampered for safety when the security operatives started shooting.

At Ojota, Lagos State, the police teargassed the protesters and dragged people into waiting RRS Black Maria.
