Sanwo-Olu extends curfew in Lagos

Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has declared an extension of the 24-hour curfew placed on the state into three days.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on Wednesday, said there should be instant suspension of all activities in the state.
He spoke about the directives given in sensitivity to the situation of things in the nation.
He stated that there would “Immediate suspension of all State activities for 3-days excey those connected with governance of security in the state and the management of the current issue
The Governor also directed that flags in all government establishment should be lowered.
He also appealed to the youths to give ‘peace a chance’ referring to several acts of destruction unfolding in the state.
The Lagos State government had earlier declared a 24-hour curfew in Lagos on Tuesday, September 20, after miscreants posing as protesters wreaked havoc in the state.
