The Lagos State Government awarded 100 officers in the Lagos State Public Service with long term service award.
The officers were picked from all parastatals in the State’s public service.
The Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said the award was to underscore the present administration’s commitment to employees’ motivation and satisfaction.
He urged all the awardees to continue to exhibit a high sense of responsibility and commitment to duty.
“The administration today presented long service awards to 100 state public servants not on the Oracle database of the state government.
“The officers had served the state government in the last 30 years and above. This is in continuation of our laudable tradition of excellence,” he said.
Mr Muri-Okunola was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Parastatal Monitoring Office, Mrs Kafayat Ajenifuja, at the event.
