Lagos Assembly overrules Isolo budget presentation, recalls suspended councillors

The Lagos State House of Assembly has nullified the 2021 budget presentation and passage of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The House also upturned the suspension of the two principal officers (Hon. Akeem Ayoola and Hon. Olanrewaju Kayode) sanctioned by the council leader, Hon. Remy Shittu Remy for absenting themselves from plenary on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

The decision was taken when the state lawmakers met with the councillors in the state House of Assembly on Wednesday, having summoned them over the crisis that has rocked the council in recent days.
