Lagos, Ogun Signs MOU for the Establishment of Joint Development Commission

The Ogun State government, today, signs a memorandum of understanding (MOU), with the Lagos State government for the establishment of the Lagos/Ogun Joint Development Commission.
Governor Sanwoolu described the MOU as a game changer that would transform the economic development of both states.
The governor noted that the drive to make Lagos state a mega city, necessitated the need to collaborate for the development of both states.
on his part, the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun noted that the MOU is a mission accomplished and dream come true for both governors and would aid the development of security, infrastructure, physical planning, and transportation sectors among others.
Abiodun described the MOU as one that would make the people of both states feel the positive dividends of democracy and add value to the life of the citizens.
He thanked the Lagos state governor for supporting the initiative passionately, adding that the collaboration is already yielding positive results in different areas that would make the state the envy of others.
Governor Abiodun further called on the private sector to ensure they support and partner with the initiative and help promote the Iseya mantra of his administration.
