JUST IN: WAEC announces release of 2026 computer-based exam results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2026 First Series.

In a statement posted on X on Friday, WAEC announced that candidates who participated in the examination can now access their results within the next 12 hours.

The council described the timely release of the results as a demonstration of its commitment to enhancing service delivery through the adoption of technology and more efficient examination processes.WAEC also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their cooperation and support, which contributed to the successful conduct of the examination.

“The result of the CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026 First Series, has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours. We thank all stakeholders for their cooperation in achieving this feat,” the statement read.
