UCL: Lookman still has more to offer Atletico, says Simeone
Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone believes Ademola Lookman still has more to offer the team.
Lookman’s 31st-minute strike proved decisive as Atlético Madrid defeated Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate to advance from their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie.
The goal marked Lookman’s second of the competition for the Rojiblancos this season.
The Nigeria international has also registered two assists.
Simeone heaped plaudits on the winger, and claimed he has more in his tank.
“He’s brilliant offensively, very good on 1v1.We want more from him and he has more in his tank,” the Argentine said after the game.
The 28-year-old joined Atletico from Serie A club, Atalanta in January.
