Man City beat Chelsea to seal FA Cup
Manchester City accomplished the domestic double by defeating Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup final.
This result marks the end of Pep Guardiola’s team’s string of Wembley failures.
City had lost their previous two finals to Manchester United and Crystal Palace.
It was a tight first half as both sides struggled to break down each other and it ended goalless.
The only goal of the match came in the second half, after Antoine Semenyo finished off a flowing team move.
City will now add the FA Cup to the Carabao Cup they won in March, when they beat Arsenal 2-0.
They remain two points behind Arsenal in the Premier League with two fixtures left.
