COVID-19: 83yrs old woman dies in Lagos, total death now 14
The death on Sunday of an 83-year-old woman coronavirus patient has increased the total number of death Lagos State to 14
Announcing the death of the octogenarian on Sunday, the Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, said the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lagos has risen to 309.
In a statement on his official social media handle, the commissioner said: “The deceased is a female, aged 83 with underlying health issues.”
He informed that about 94 patients have so far been discharged from the isolation centres after they had been tested negative to the virus.
