Ronaldo Breaks Silence After Ballon d’Or of All Time Award

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted after winning the Ballon d’Or of All Time award.

In a post on his X account on Thursday, the Portuguese star thanked football fans who voted for him to receive the honour.

“Football belongs to the fans! Thank you to all the fans around the world, the Ballon D’Or of All Time is also yours,” Ronaldo said.

Ronaldo’s 2008 Ballon d’Or-winning season was voted the best in the history of the award.

A public poll was recently organised to celebrate the award’s 70th anniversary.

The vote asked fans to choose their favourite Ballon d’Or-winning season and Ronaldo finished in first position.

Ronaldo’s eternal rival, Lionel Messi’s 2012 season finished second.
