Legendary Musician, Majek Fashek Dies at 57

The world woke up to the news of the death of Popular Reggae Singer, Songwriter and Actor Majek Fashek.
He died on the 1st of June in an hospital in New York, aged 57.
The cause of his death is yet to be confirmed.
He is best known in his home country for the 1988 album Prisoner of Conscience, which included the multiple award-winning single “Send Down the Rain” Also known as The Rainmaker, Majek has worked with various Artists worldwide, including Tracy Chapman, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, and Beyoncé.
