Three occupants of a saloon car were left thanking their good fortune after they survived a crash without any visible injuries on Wednesday afternoon.

The car, an unregistered Pontiac Vibe, had been trying to avoid commercial buses under the bridge when it ran into a container truck. Per reports, the incident had occurred some minutes before 2pm.

After the crash, bystanders had rescued the occupants of the saloon car who were surprisingly unhurt even as the car’s bonnet was mauled in the crash.

The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi-Oke- Osanyintolu corroborated the report, adding that efforts were underway to transport both vehicles involved in the accident to the Ilasamaja Police Station.

He added that officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Lagos State Neighborhood Corps (LNSC) and the Nigeria Police Force were at the scene of the crash to help handle the situation.
