Former Kano Chief Judge Atiku passes on

A former Chief Judge of the Kano State High Court of Justice who died on Sunday has been been buried according to Islamic rites on Monday in Kano.
Bala Ibrahim Jibo, spokesman for the Kano State High Court, made this known in a statement released on Monday in which he confirmed news of the late judge’s death.
According to the statement the late judge had passed away due to an undisclosed sickness.
The family carried out Islamic funeral rites on Atiku’s body at the Umar Ibn Khttab Mosque, before burying him according to Islamic law.
Reports indicate that hundreds of sympathizers continue to former judge’s home to offer condolences to Atiku’s family.
Shehu Atiku was the immediate Chief Judge of the Kano State High Court of Justice.
