#OccupyLekkiTollgate: Lagos CP orders release of protesters

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has ordered the prompt release of arrested #OccupyLekkitollgate protesters.

According to TVC, the commissioner has ordered the immediate release of about 35 persons arrested in connection with the #OccupyLekki tollgate protest.

No fewer than 30 protesters alongside popular comedian, Debo Adebayo also known as Mr. Macaroni, were arrested at the Lekki toll gate during a protest held to campaign against the reopening of the toll gate on Saturday.

The protesters were detained at Area J police command, Elemoro, Ibeju Lekki.
