Buhari presents 2021 Finance Bill to Reps for approval

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the 2021 Finance Bill to the House of Representatives for evaluation and approval.
House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, read out Buhari’s accompanying letter to the Reps following the commencement of plenary on Tuesday.
It was gathered that the Finance Bill is proposing modifications to current tax laws and financial regulations.
This is said to be in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current recession which have had a negative impact on the nation’s economy.
