Building under construction collapses in Obalende, workers trapped, LASEMA starts rescue operation

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has begun rescue operation at the scene of the collapsed building in Obalende area of Lagos State.
This was contained in a tweet by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos on new media, Gawat Jubril on Sunday.
“UPDATE: LASEMA Response Team in ongoing operation at No. 60, Odo Street, Obalende, Eti-Osa LCDA, at the scene of a collapsed Building.” Gawat tweeted.
A video taken at the scene of the incident showed bystanders gathered around the scene while some individuals pulled out bodies trapped in the building.
