Custom Officer allegedly kills smuggler in Abeokuta

Custom Officers has reportedly killed a rice smuggler along Kobape road in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
The corpse was carried to the front gate of the entrance into the state Governor’s Office in Oke-Mosan for display where dangerous weapons were displayed for protests on the dead smuggler by his colleagues.
Officers of the Nigerian Customs Service who caused the mayhem along Kobape road reportedly fled the scene.
The protest by the committee of rice smugglers lasted hours infront of the entrance gate into the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
There is no official Statement yet from the office of the Governor.
