FirstBank Launches Verve Flash Promo to Reward Customers with Free Cards

First Bank of Nigeria Limited (FirstBank), Nigeria’s premier financial inclusion services provider, has announced the launch of the Verve Flash Promo, a new initiative that rewards customers with free Verve debit cards.

The campaign, which began on October 6, 2025, will run until January 30, 2026, and is targeted exclusively at FirstBank customers whose ATM cards have expired.

Under the initiative, 131 customers will receive free Verve cards daily on a first-come, first-served basis across the bank’s branches nationwide. The initiative reflects FirstBank’s continued commitment to convenience, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.

Speaking on the launch, Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive, e-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said the Verve Flash Promo goes beyond rewarding customers with free cards.

“It is about celebrating our legacy of 131 years of trust, resilience, and innovation in Nigeria’s financial services industry,” he stated. “We remain committed to providing secure, seamless, and convenient payment experiences. Partnering with Verve International underscores our shared vision of deepening financial inclusion while rewarding our loyal customers.”

Vincent Ogbunude, Managing Director, Verve International, described the partnership as part of Verve’s drive to enhance access to seamless payment solutions across Nigeria.

“The Verve Flash Promo not only rewards loyal customers but also reinforces our vision of making everyday transactions more rewarding, secure, and convenient,” he said.

Meanwhile, the ongoing Verve Good Life Promo—designed to reward Verve debit cardholders for using their cards at select merchant outlets—has been extended to November 30, 2025.

During the promo period, Verve cardholders enjoy 10% cashback every Thursday to Sunday when they transact at The Place Restaurant, Quickteller, Buypower, Filmhouse, AliExpress, Addide Supermarkets, and Chowdeck app. In addition, customers now get a 10% cashback on Google Play Store purchases any day of the week.

Every transaction made with a Verve card—on ATMs, POS terminals, or online platforms—also earns customers a chance to win up to ₦1,000,000.
