Former Mali President Toure is dead

Former President of Mali, Amadou Toumani Toure, has died, Lagos Street Journal can confirm.
Toure, who died aged 72 years, was Mali’s President from 2002 to 2012, until he was overthrown in a coup.
Reports from the family of the deceased say the former President passed away in Turkey where he was receiving medical treatment.
