Gunmen set Gov. Uzodinma’s house on fire, kill security operatives

The residence of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has been set on fire by suspected gunmen.
Two security operatives on duty were shot dead by the gunmen.
The incident was said to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
The gunmen who stormed the governor’s village house in Omuma in the Oru East Local Government Area of the state reportedly set a part of the building on fire.
Several vehicles parked in the compound were also burnt.
The incident was confirmed by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
