Lady collapses inside Lagos court after getting death sentence

A 36-year-old woman, Stella Gilbert, has been sentenced to death by Ikeja high court for stabbing her neighbour Mrs Stella Godwin to death during a fight in Ajegunle, Lagos.

She collapsed on hearing the judge read her sentence, amidst tears from her friends, siblings and well-wishers.

The law enforcement agents carried her from the Court room back to the prison, as she wait for her execution time.
