Lagos closes Iju Railway Crossing for night repairs

Lagos state Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde, has said that the state government will close the Iju level crossing in the state, from 8:00pm. on Sunday, May 23 to 6:00am on Monday, May 24.

The night closure according to the statement, is to effect repairs on the damaged rail track caused by an accident involving an articulated vehicle, to prevent accidents of the train running on the track.

The statement also assured of alternative routes during the temporary closure.
