The Muslim Association of Visually Impaired of Nigeria, MAVIN, has joined Nigerians to commiserate with President Mohammad Buhari over the demise of his Chief Of Staff, Mallam Abba kyari who died of coronavirus complications and buried at Gudu cemetery, Abuja.

The Amir of the association, Mallam Dairu Rapidadi in a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the association, Abdulwasiu Salaudeen, said the association was grieved that Malam Kyari contracted the deadly coronavirus abroad while on official duty.

He said kyari died at the time his service was needed most in the nation.

“As Muslims, Allah says in the Qur’an that everyone shall taste death. In other word, the holy Qur’an says it is a person who has to taste death and his physical existence does not separate from his soul. Death is the termination of an individual comprehensive being capable of believing.

“Our prayer to Almighty God is that He grants him, his family and the presidency the fortitude to bear the loss.”

Rapidadi said it is the believe and prayer of the association that God Almighty in his infinity mercy would bring another capable hand who would do better than Kyari while praying for victory over the coronavirus and other challenges facing the country.

He used the opportunity to call on members of the association across the country to abide by the stay-at-home order of the government, affirming that coronavirus is real.
