Mykel Parish emerges AMP President, as NFVCB DG holds BOT Chairman Zeb Ejiro hostage in Asaba


Mykel Parish Ajaere has emerged new President of the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria, AMP.
The election held in Lagos on Saturday 29, August 2020 after a faction of the members announced a change of venue to Asaba in Delta State.
Efforts of the alleged cohorts planning to discredit the Lagos Election failed as members were of the opinion that, Lagos venue is the authentic venue of the election.
Board of Trustees Chairman Zeb Ejiro who was in Asaba was held hostage as the Asaba group needed his signature to authenticate the election that was holding there.
Reports have it that, Zeb Ejiro was held hostage for over 7hours.
He was denied exit from the hotel for over 7hours According to information.
The DG, NFVCB Adedayo Thomas who is a major sponsor of one of the contestants, Peace Anyiam Osigwe allegedly masterminded the shameful act metted out to the BoT Chairman.
Ejiro at some point was said to have petition the Electoral Commission to postpone the election.
