PHOTOS: Akogun hosts Ramadan package distribution, prayers in Erin Osun

Residents, community leaders, and party members gathered at the Erin Osun Township Hall on Sunday for the Akogun Ramadan Package Distribution and Prayer programme, an initiative aimed at supporting people across the constituency during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ramadan outreach was facilitated by ARA Media Hubs and was held at about 1:00 p.m. It brought together leaders, elders, friends, supporters, and religious figures including Imams and Alfas, in a gathering described by organisers as inspiring and reflective of the spirit of compassion, generosity, and sacrifice that defines the Ramadan season.

According to organisers, the programme was designed to touch the lives of many people in the constituency by providing Ramadan support packages while also creating a moment for prayers and reflection.

The organisers noted that although similar acts of kindness had been carried out in the past, the initiative has now grown to a larger scale due to broader community and political integration within the constituency.

Participants at the event expressed appreciation for the opportunity to come together in unity and goodwill, while prayers were offered for continued peace, progress, and blessings for the community.

Organisers also thanked leaders, elders, party members, and supporters who attended the programme, praying that God would reward their efforts and accept their acts of worship during the holy month.
