Police shoots at unarmed EndSARS protesters, one dead

The #EndSARS protest at Surulere has turned violent with police officers reportedly shooting at protesters.

It is reported that one unidentified person is dead after medical attempt to revive him proved abortive.

The protest turned violent when police officers of the Area C command tried to disperse the protesters by shooting sporadically, many  have been reported injured and one confirmed dead.

Videos and tweets reporting police officers’ assault on protesters have also emerged on twitter.

The #EndSARS protest continued nationwide with campaigners demanding for an executive order on the dissolution of the SARS unit and also the punishment of erring officers.
