President Buhari commiserates with NUJ over death of, New Telegraph editor, Waheed Bakare

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday commiserated with the media industry, particularly the Nigerian Union of Journalists and the Nigerian Guild of Editors, over the passing of Waheed Bakare, the Saturday Editor, New Telegraph Newspaper.
Buhari in a terse statement signed by his spokesperson, Femi Adesina described Bakare’s death as a “collective loss to the media and the nation as the deceased served passionately with his talent.”
The President also sent condolences to the Bakare’s family
The President prayed that God receives the soul of the departed, and comfort all that mourn him.
