The Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) in Russia has officially announced its major breakthrough in cure for cancer.

The BRIC news reports that the vaccine is ready for clinical use and would be rolled out to patients for free.

This was contained in a post on X earlier today.

According to the news outlet, Russia’s FMBA said a personalized messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) cancer vaccine has completed preclinical trials, showing 60-80% tumor reduction in tests.

The agency revealed that the vaccine targeted colorectal cancer initially, with plans for melanoma and glioblastoma.

As efficacy in humans awaits clinical trials, the vaccine is set for free rollout to patients in late 2025 pending approval, building on earlier Putin statements. The agency has said.

The Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) in Russia is a federal executive body responsible for the functions of rendering government services and managing state property in healthcare, including the provision of medical aid, managing the Blood Service.
