Unilag confirms outbreak of Covid 19 among students

The University of Lagos (Unilag), through the Dean of Students Affairs, has confirmed the outbreak of Covid 19 among the students.
Reports first emerged of a positive case in Amina hostel; subsequently, more information emerged of Covid 19 cases in the hostels in New hall. Most recently, last night honours hostel reported some cases of Covid 19.
In a directive dated 5th of July, Unilag gave directives to students and staff members on how to handle the covid 19 outbreak. One of the directives is for students with covid 19 symptoms to self isolate for 10 days; the directive also provides for self-isolation for students that might have been in contact with those that have covid 19.
