WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons to play Zambia, Egypt, Malawi in Group C
The defending champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have been drawn in Group C of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, alongside Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi.
The Group C games will take place in Casablanca’s Larbi Zaouli Stadium.
Nigeria defeated Zambia 5-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2024 edition, which was also hosted by Morocco.
Justine Madugu’s side will be facing Malawi for the first time at the WAFCON.
Egypt have featured regularly in the competition.
The Super Falcons will be aiming for a record-extending 11th title in Morocco.
16 countries will participate in the tournament for the first time.
The competition will run from 17 March to 3 April.
