You’ll pay big price if you don’t cooperate with US – Trump issues warning to new Venezuela leader

President Donald Trump of the United States has warned Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela’s interim leader, that there would be grave consequences if she fails to cooperate with America.

Speaking in an interview on Sunday, Trump said if she does not do what is right, she is going to pay a very big price even bigger than Maduro.

This warning is coming a day after the US forces invaded Venezuelan capital city and captured President Nicolas Maduro.

Trump on Saturday announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro alongside his wife.

According to the Trump administration, it is willing to work with the rest of Maduro’s government as long as Washington’s goals, including opening access to US investment in the enormous Venezuelan crude oil reserves, are met.

“If she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro,” Trump said.
