Properties destroyed as fire guts Oko Baba Sawmill

The popular Oko Baba Sawmill Market, Ebute Metta, Lagos was in the early hours of Thursday consumed by fire.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) made the announcement via its official Twitter handle.
LASEMA said the area was cordoned off to prevent recoding casualties.
“We are trying to prevent the raging fire from spreading to adjoining buildings,” Public Relations Officer, PRO, of the Lagos fire service, Mr. Amodu Shuaibu, said.
