Germany: Musiala reveals neurological condition after on-field collapse
Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Jamal Musiala has revealed that he has been diagnosed with a neurological dysfunction after collapsing during a match.
Musiala disclosed the development following concerns over his health after he collapsed during Bayern Munich’s recent pre-season fixture.
The 23-year-old said doctors diagnosed him with brief, temporary but treatable absence seizures linked to the neurological dysfunction.
“I understand that many of you are worried. I would like to put those concerns to rest,” Musiala said, reassuring fans that he is receiving medical care.
The Germany international added that he remains optimistic and intends to continue his football career while managing the condition under medical supervision.
His revelation comes after concerns were raised following his recent on-field collapses, with supporters and teammates expressing their worries about his wellbeing.
