The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has sealed 11 establishments across Agege and Mushin areas of the state over persistent environmental violations.

The enforcement exercise was carried out following repeated breaches of environmental regulations by the affected establishments.

LASEPA said the action was necessary to address activities that pose environmental and public health risks within the affected communities.

The agency reiterated its commitment to enforcing environmental laws across Lagos and ensuring that businesses comply with approved standards.

It also warned establishments and businesses operating in the state against violating environmental regulations, stressing that persistent non-compliance could attract sanctions.

LASEPA urged operators to adhere to environmental guidelines and obtain the necessary approvals to avoid enforcement actions.
