UK-based Nigerian producer and recording artist Uchenna Benjamin, known professionally as UrchMan, is gaining attention for his work across Afrobeats, Afro-gospel and contemporary African music.

Since beginning his professional career in 2018, UrchMan has contributed to several music projects while developing a production style that combines African musical traditions with modern sounds.

His production credits include projects such as Cursed by Francis Brio, Reckless by Mostint and My Steps by Minister Joseph LB, among other collaborations.

The projects demonstrate the producer’s ability to work across different musical expressions, particularly at the intersection of contemporary African music and gospel.

His work has also received media attention in Nigeria, with publications including The Guardian Nigeria, The Sun Nigeria, Independent Nigeria and THISDAY featuring his contributions to the music industry.

For UrchMan, production goes beyond technical sound creation. His work is also centred on helping artists translate their ideas into finished musical projects while creating sounds capable of reaching wider audiences.

With his career now extending into the UK, the producer is continuing to build on his Nigerian experience while developing international collaborations.
