Abba Kyari’s wife slumps in Abuja court

Wife of the suspended police officer, Abba Kyari’s slumped at the Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday, March 14, 2022.

She was said to have slumped shortly after the trial judge, Emeka Nwite deferred on ruling on the bail application filed by the embattled police officer and six other defendants facing drug trafficking charges with him.

Kyari was arraigned on eight counts bordering on conspiracy, obstruction, and dealing in cocaine, and other related offences.

Efforts were ongoing to stabilise her at the time of filing this report.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency had urged the court to deny Kyari and six other defendants bail.
