 Abducted Anchor University Deputy VC gains freedom

Abducted deputy Vice Chancellor of Anchor University, Lagos, Prof. Johnson Fatokun, has been released.

The University on its Facebook page, announced this development.
”BREAKING: DVC RELEASED! To the glory of God, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Anchor University, Professor J.O. Fatokun, has been released.” the post read.

As earlier reported by Lagos Street Journal, the DVC was kidnapped on Monday in Nassarawa while on his way to Lagos.

He had gone to drop his children, who were schooling in the North, when he was abducted on his way back.

The kidnappers had also demanded a sum of N20 million ransom for his release.
