 ASUS unveils latest notebook brands in Nigeria

ASUS, a computer and electronics company, has introduced its latest Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3402), and Zenbook 17-Fold (UX9702) laptops into the Nigerian market.

The company said the new gadgets come with innovative technology with global standard qualities that make then unique.

Speaking at a Media Gathering held in Lagos, ASUS Country Manager for English Speaking Africa, Simplice Zaongo, said the products, which will be available in Nigerian markets as from October, this year, are affordable for the Nigerian customers.

He informed that the products are in different categories based on their performances and budget of the customers.

Speaking on the incredible journey with worldwide achievements, he hinted that ASUS has earned a total of 57,156 awards from some of the world’s most prestigious international organizations and media groups.

“Each award is a testament to our relentless quest to create solutions designed for the benefit of everyone,” he said.

He noted that ASUS has gained about 20 per cent market share in Nigeria as he states that the company will continue to defend its proud tradition of creating innovative technologies for everyone to enjoy.

To gain more market share in Nigeria,  Zaongo hinted that the company is deploying new strategies including introduction of instalment payment plans for its customers.

“Besides being the Number one consumer notebook brand in Asia-Pacific and East Europe, ASUS gaming notebooks account for the highest market share worldwide,” he said.

ASUS Nigeria Marketing Manager, Adeola Odeleye, said: “ASUS is driven by innovation and it is passionate about technology. She informed that ASUS currently has three distributors in Nigeria including Coscharis Technologies, Mitsumi Distribution and TD Africa, adding that there are five service centers in across Nigeria – in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Enugu.
