Bandits kill four, abduct Chief Imam, 25 others in Kagara

In a fresh attack on Kagara, and adjoining villages in Rafi Local Government Area, Niger state, bandits on Saturday, reportedly killed four and abducted 26 others.
This happened on the same day 42 students and other persons they kidnapped from a school in the town regained fredom.
A community leader in Kagara, Musa Kwabe, said eight persons were kidnapped in Kundu and 11 others in nearby Gunna district.
He also added that four people were killed in Karako, and seven others still missing.
Muhammad Hussein, a chief in Kagara and a former local council chairman, said a chief imam at Madaka village, Ibrahim Ruvo was also kidnapped and yet to be found.
He implored the state government to deploy more security operatives to prevent further attack on the affected communities.
