Barcelona humiliated by PSG in enthralling Champions League clash

Kylian Mbappe scored an hattrick as PSG humiliated Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the first leg of the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.

Barcelona unfortunately couldn’t end the cycle of embarrassing losses in the champions league knock out stages, as they were completely dismantled at home by PSG.

Lionel Messi seemed to give Barcelona a perfect start when he scored a penalty, Mbappe however equalized in the 32nd minute, and the first half ended 1:1.

The second half however was spiced with goals, as Mbappe gave PSG the lead in the 65th minute, things got worse as Moise Kean extended PSG’s lead even further, before Mbappe completed the rout with his sensational hattrick.

Barcelona now have an uphill battle ahead of them in the second leg, as they go with a huge deficit away to PSG, it may not be too far fetched to believe that Barcelona may be out of the Champions League, but this is football, impossible is nothing.
