Breaking: ASUU suspends strike action

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its nine months old industrial strike action

The Union announced the conditional suspension of its nine months old strike action at a press conference in Abuja, on Wednesday.

The ASUU president, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi explained that the decision to spend the strike action followed consultations with its National Executive Council (NEC).
