Breaking: Buhari to appear before House of Representatives

President Muhammadu Buhari has agreed to address members of the House of Representatives over the security issues facing the country.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila revealed this while addressing State House Correspondents on Wednesday following his visit to the Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Thei House of Representatives had on Tuesday asked the President to appear before the house to detail his plans for combating the endemic insecurity in the country.
The Reps’ decision to invite Buhari is sequel to the recent killing of 43 farmers in Borno by dreaded Boko Haram Islamic sect which has drawn widespread condemnation from lawmakers.
The Senate had in fact told the President to sack the service chiefs over their inability to handle the insecurity in Northern Nigeria and elsewhere.
