 BREAKING: Police shoot activist, Sowore

An activist and a former Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has allegedly been shot by the police.

According to SaharaReporters, Sowore, was shot at by the police at the Unity Fountain, Abuja, while he was trying to gain entrance into the place.

Sowore was said to have been speaking with a detachment of police officers stationed at the public facility when an officer shot at the crowd.

Protesters had converged on the fountain at 8:30am but were allegedly denied entry into the facility.
