A former Nigerian senator, Senator Biyi Durojaiye, has reportedly died.
He died of Covid-19 this morning, Tuesday, August 24 at the age of 88 years.
Sen. Otunba Olabiyi, a legal practitioner, legislator, politician; was born on February 8, 1933 at Ojowo, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State.
He went to Ojowo United Primary School, Ijebu-Igbo between 1940 and 1948; Molusi College, Ijebu-Igbo between 1949 and 1953.
Otunba Durojaiye had two Universities Degrees. Private Studies. 1960; London 1976; National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, 1979-80; Training in Money and Banking IMF, 1964; Federal Reserve Bank of New York. 1976; London City University Business School Course for Senior Bankers and Financial Executives in 1982.
He was a founding member of NADECO and member of Afenifere Group.
