Bruno Guimaraes Gives Green Light to Arsenal Move

Bruno Guimaraes has reportedly agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Arsenal.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, the Newcastle United captain remains determined to complete a move to the Premier League champions this summer.

The report added that the Brazil international is now awaiting an agreement between Newcastle and Arsenal before the transfer can be finalised.

The Gunners have seen an initial offer around €70million rejected by their rivals.

They are expected to return with a bid around €80million for Guimaraes.

If that offer is accepted, Lyon would set to receive €6million, as they had inserted a sell-on clause when they sold him to Newcastle.

Arsenal have already wrapped up deals to sign Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier so far.
