Buhari Completes Onitsha Seaport, as First Ship from China berths

Containers have arrived Onitsha Port for the first time in 42 years.
The Landmark event oçcured shortly after the commissioning of the port on Sunday by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Chief Dr George Moghalu.
The milestone will have direct impact on the economy of the Southeast region; as the cost of transportation of goods and services will significantly reduce.
It will also open avenue for job creations and will equally reduce time spent on traffic and the resultant road accidents.
