The draw for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase has been completed, with 36 clubs discovering their opponents for the new European campaign.

Under the league-phase format, each team will play eight matches against eight different opponents, with four games at home and four away.

Several high-profile fixtures emerged from Thursday’s draw in Monaco.

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain will face Barcelona, Manchester City, Roma, Aston Villa, Galatasaray, Villarreal, Slovan Bratislava and Como.

Real Madrid, managed by Jose Mourinho, were drawn against Inter Milan, Arsenal, PSV, Roma, RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, LASK and AEK Athens.

Arsenal will also face Bayern Munich, while Manchester City were handed fixtures against PSG and Barcelona.

Liverpool will meet Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid, among others, while Manchester United will face Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.

The league phase is scheduled to begin from September 8, with the final matchday set for January 27, 2027.

The top eight teams in the league table will advance directly to the round of 16, while teams finishing ninth to 24th will enter the knockout phase play-offs. The 2027 Champions League final is scheduled to take place on June 5 in Madrid
