Daddy Showkey visits Ajomale, seeks inclusion of South-South politicians in Lagos government

By Rasaq Adebayo

A case was made for the inclusion of South-South politicians and support for their ambitions in the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) by popular Nigerian veteran singer, Chief John Aseimo (Daddy Showkey) when he visited Governor’s Advisory Council member and former party chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Oladele Ajomale at the weekend.

Daddy Showkey expressed gratitude to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for giving his members opportunities to participate in politics in Lagos without segregating them as a result of their identity.

He disclosed that the forum will in history continue to appreciate the privilege given to the SLG to the Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Paul Fregene, saying they will keep looking up to more opportunities in the future.

He later presented an attire on behalf of the forum under the leadership of Hon. Paul Fregene to Chief Ajomale for the appropriate mobilization of South members for the upcoming election.
