Davido Reacts as Akpabio, APC Governors Storm Osogbo Ahead of Osun Election
Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the arrival of Senate President Godswill Akpabio and several governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The political heavyweights reportedly stormed the state as the APC intensifies its activities ahead of the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
Davido, who hails from Osun State and is a nephew of Governor Ademola Adeleke, reacted to the development in a social media post.
The singer appeared to draw attention to the growing political activities in the state as APC leaders and governors rallied support for the party ahead of the election.
His reaction came after Akpabio, alongside more than 10 APC governors and other senior party leaders, arrived in Osogbo as part of the party’s mobilisation efforts.
The visit has further heightened political activities in the state, with the APC seeking to strengthen its presence and challenge the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Davido has previously shown interest in developments involving Osun State, particularly those concerning his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
